The paper “RecPro: A User-Centric Recommendation Tool for Business Process Execution” authored by Sebastian Petter and Stefan Jablonski has been accepted and presented at the 36th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAISE Forum). Below you can find the abstract of the paper.
This paper introduces RecPro, a novel tool in the field of Business Process Management (BPM), fostering the integration of human-centric computing by integrating methods from recommender systems. Unlike existing approaches that enrich BPM by recommendation techniques, RecPro is not restricted to a specific recommendation method. This adaptability allows for the utilization of various algorithms to create personalized recommendations. By offering users task recommendations based on their individual likes and dislikes, RecPro fosters a more user-centric approach, addressing the often overlooked aspect of personal preferences in BPM. This integration signifies a move towards a more inclusive, efficient, and personalized BPM.
